How long does counselling last? Counselling sessions are for 50 minutes on a weekly basis and the number of sessions will be agreed at our initial meeting. The length of time you spend in counselling is up to you and is open to review.
What can I expect? Our introductory session would be to discuss what has brought you to counselling and to see if we are happy working together. You have the right to be provided with a professional and consistent level of care regardless of age, gender, sexual preference, religion or race.
What if I can't make a session? I require 24hrs notice if you are unable to attend a session. Where possible I will aim to re-schedule your appointment.
How does counselling end? You have the right to stop at any time however, I ask that we have at least one session to discuss this as I believe a proper ending is both important and necessary for your well-being.
