Is it confidential? As a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) I am bound by their ethical practices and subject to their professional codes of conduct. All information is confidential except if I felt you, or another person, was at significant risk of harm when we would, where possible, discuss the process of breaking confidentiality in more detail.
How long do sessions last? Sessions are for approximately 1 hour, on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis depending on your needs. The length of time we work together and the regularity of sessions is up to you and is open to review, however generally I ask for a commitment of a minimum of four sessions.
What can I expect? Our introductory session would be to discuss what has brought you to coaching and/or counselling and to see if we are happy working together. You have the right to be provided with a professional and consistent level of care regardless of age, gender, sexual preference, religion or race.
How is payment made? Payment is made in advance of our sessions and is payable online via bank transfer. All relevant information will be sent to you once we have agreed to work together. Failure to pay for sessions could mean that further appointments are unable to be made until accounts are settled.
What if I can't make a session? I require 48hrs notice if you are unable to attend a session. Where possible I will aim to re-schedule your appointment. Unfortunately less than 24hrs notice may mean that you are still charged for your session.
How do I end my sessions with you? You have the right to stop at any time however, I ask that we have at least one final ending session to discuss this as I believe a proper ending is both important and necessary for your well-being.
